Are you a Wunderlist user like me?

I love using this program as it makes my life so much easier for keeping track of my tasks and managing projects, and I’ve even converted a couple of my clients to Wunderlist users as well which makes it easier for us to collaborate. In a previous post I gave a brief overview of Wunderlist, well it’s been a couple of months since I started using it and have picked up a couple of great functions within Wunderlist.

If you have heaps on lists and want to do a quick search for say high priority, medium priority or even a specific task say invoices just put the hashtag in front e.g. #invoices after you’ve typed your description. Do this with the tasks you want to stand out. Want to do a quick search for all tasks with that specific field then click on the hashtag that now has been made into a hyperlink and this will bring up all those tasks that you have tagged with that field.

I’ve also made the switch to Toggl as I found that it integrated with so many programs and because it works off the cloud I am able to have the app on my phone as well. If you add all your to do’s in Wunderlist and download the Toggl Chrome extension you can actually start the timer from the button beside your tasks, this saves you adding the description etc. in Toggl manually.

Stay tuned as I will more than likely find some other tips and tricks along with way which will simplify the way you use Wunderlist.
