Wondering why you should hire a Virtual Assistant to help with your tasks? Here’s an infographic highlighting the differences in Employee vs Virtual Assistant.
Would you like to be able to handle your tasks within the same program?
Have you been searching high and low trying to find a program that suits your needs and is FREE?
Well take a peek at Grindstone. This fantastic time tracking program for your PC has many great features to help you monitor where your time is being spent.
It allows you to;
Set up your own custom fields
Add as many customers or tasks
Organise your tasks by customers
Automatically keeps detailed logs of start and finish times
Add in your hourly rates as well to keep a tally or how much you have earnt
Produce timesheets, summaries and breakdowns
I would regularly finish timing and I’d think to myself “I’ll add a note later to that entry” and forget. Well within the options you can set it so that once you’ve stopped the timer a dialog box pops up prompting you to enter a note about what you were timing. Other great prompts include “break time” reminders and “productivity prodding”.
I have been using this program for over a year now and even though I have looked at others out there I have always stuck to Grindstone as it suits my needs perfectly and keeps me on track. Take a look and judge for yourself.
Looking for a way to keep a list of your to-do’s but also want to be able to communicate with others without the hassle of emailing? Well I have just the program for you. As you’ve probably noticed I like finding new apps and programs to help make the daily grind easier. This program I came across is called Wunderlist another great to do app which is free and available on PC and android.
Wunderlist has many features that can benefit your business and you. Once you have your free account set up you can create lists, tasks, folders and reminders and then invite others to collaborate on a list. Once you’ve invited someone to edit and view a list that person can set up their own free account with Wunderlist and add comments on a task, making it easier to communicate with others without having to send emails back and forth. Within your task you can also add photo’s or files either from your camera or dropbox.
There is also a widget that you can get for the home screen on your phone making it easier for you to view notifications when they appear in your list. Another pro for me is that this app along with my google calander are intergrated into the email program I use Mailbird which allows me to have only one browser window open and not several.
I’ve been using this program for a couple of weeks now and can’t fault it. So if you’re looking for a different way to communicate with your clients, staff or even family check out Wunderlist or looking for a new windows email program have a look at Mailbird.
